Bananas took off this year.

I planted this banana last year sometime in July. It has really taken off. I made this bed specifically because there is a sprinkler in the middle of it from our aerobic septic system. The growth rate has been awesome and I really need to thin this clump out. My plan is to split the clump into more individual plants evenly spread in the bed. I want to then trim all of the suckers and trim lower leaves off, so that you can walk under the canopy.
I threw that 5 gal bucket in there for scale. I can't imagine how tall they could be if the top branches didn't get snapped off every few weeks when we get a strong thunderstorm coming through.
Kano ako, Pinoy kayo?
