and it was not much fun trying to lay out a garden and clean out
the bushes etc while trying to move.....anyway-
7 Palms were moved....none pulled(although they were basically yanked from the ground)....Trachycarpus Princeps,T.Nanus,T.Oreophilus,T.Takil,T.Geminesectus,T.Manipur (Naga hills)
and a small T.Latisectus...so I have
a decent collection of small Trachys....I also moved 5 T.Ferns.....
2 C.Cooperi,C.Medularis,C.Brownii and a C.Robusta...they stopped growing
for a few days and had a slight wilt but are now moving...the palms too.....
I have a few other small things I moved like some cactus but thats about it.....my Castor
are the smallest they have ever been at this point in the season but are moving now with the heat....BTW
My garden faces east now .....there is a small area on the south side of the house I may develop for the cactus at some point....that is all.
