One of our local weather guys on TV or radio used the term "ineffectual sunshine" to describe this coming Thursday when our high will be 19F. That's the coldest daily high NWS is predicting for the cold snap. (Most winters, we don't have highs that fail to make it to 20F.)
The morning low on Thursday is slated to be 6F if you go by NWS, 7F if you go by AccuWeather. Usually AccuWeather has the harsher numbers.
Jim, I know you would gladly trade my forecast for yours.
