The summer's must be great there. I don't get Cycad growth like that in pots. My E.lehmannii skipped the whole summer. It's still got 2017 foliage. Disappointing and why I'm not adding more of the pricy blue's.
Have you looked Jim for other big high mountain Pasacana's? Locally I saw one with lots of hair at Inga Hoffman's in San Leandro. Others in photo's show golden spined huge cactus. I once asked UC Berkeley to put me on where to get them..and they just kind of shrugged when I volunteered.
