I live at the southern end of Humid Continental Climate. And I have to say that I hate winters here in Delaware. By mid January, the very concept of winter has gotten old and you pray, you beg for spring. But, you're only halfway through winter's torture.
And for all that, Delaware's winters are fairly benign compared to New York State, New England, the Upper Midwest, the Northern Plains. Below zero temperatures are exceedingly rare here. And single digit cold happens maybe 4 or 5 nights in a bad year. So, it could be worse. A lot worse.
