Re: Making the world a slightly palmier place
It's been a rainy summer. Too much water is probably bad news, considering it's in a spot where the land slopes toward the foundation of the house, so water would have nowhere to go, plus it's in sticky clay soil that probably doesn't drain well. On the other hand, it was planted so high originally I had to mound 3-4 inches of extra soil around it to keep the roots from being exposed.
