This was a point that was mentioned in the documentary that his character was good but limited in going forward

By coincidence I watched episode “Pushing’ too hard” (season 1, episode 12) only 48 hours ago. This is the episode where Cpt. Wallace dies, what a dramatic moment! Now I read that Kevin Conroy died just before I watched it, what a great loss! I think he acted very well in the series and I wished his character in Tour of Duty was portrayed more strongly and shown more frequent, I would have loved to see more of Cpt. Wallace in the series.
