If ever I find a way to reprint them, I'll send you copies. It's all on 3.5" disk and printed on for matrix daisy wheel spool printer paper at the mo. And my proper desktop pc died before first lockdown so I can't even retype.
I never got to read Lock N Load, just couldn't seem to get hold of it , but I remember reading about it.
Absolutely!! And I'm really grateful that fabulous films brought out the proper discs with the proper music. I used to run a fan club called 'Lock 'n' Load' back when it was still on TV. I used to enjoy researching the real stories behind the headlines they put up at the beginning of each episode and putting the into the newsletters (you know, paper ones before computer web sites ). I wanted people to remember it was a real happening, not just pretty guys in uniform. I still watch it now and sometimes even now the acting just blows me away.
http://www.hum90.com/I_wish_it_would_rain.htm , well that was a great episode, some may disagree , but each to their own , I think that every episode brings something new (even if you have watched it since 1989) on every new viewing, I enjoy it everytime sometimes I spot a new thing , some times I don't , I just think its well acted and great writing .Don't know about you ,, I'm just glad they made it
Even though I am female I have to say the women in season two mostly get on my nerves. However - how brilliant is 'I wish it would rain'? A proper look at the effects of war on young minds (not too sure about a professional doctor crying in front of the patient though). There's lots of good stuff in the second season, but being 5 episodes shorter than the other 2 there's a whole load of important stuff not covered. Considering how long the get offensive was, if you had blinked you'd have missed it.
Pidd & Mike , I'm glad that your using your time wisely and binging the series again and that your finding the site is still as useful as it was before, welcome back Pidd, it was a pleasure to track that info down for you,
Stay safe everyone.
Been doing the same thing. Thanks Craig
I haven’t posted to this board in close to 20 years I guess,, but I just have to publicly thank the owner of this site who went way about the call of duty to hunt down some information I had lost. I knew if it had to do with Tour of Duty, Craig was my go-to guy.
I’m enjoying the incredible amount of information on this site. Being in lock down for the past 3 weeks gave me time to binge the series, which is still damn good (if we disregard season 2j so utilizing Hum90 as a companion piece is great. I’m glad you’ve kept it available after all these years. It’s been fun looking back to a fun time in my life. Thanks for everything Craig. You rock!
