I got the signed picture quite a while ago,I've just not been able to update for months due to various reasons (mainly not having a working office).
I to am glad that they changed the start of the episode, the reason Steve Bello gives about maybe wanting use suicide later on makes sense seeing what we know comes later on.

: Thanks for the great updates, Craig. I really
: enjoy reading the behind the scenes info and
: the cast interviews.
:
: It's pretty awesome that Tony Colitti took
: the time to send you a signed photo. Did you
: get it recently?
:
: Regarding the changes to 'Sitting Ducks',
: I'm glad that they changed the opening
: scene. Given Season 1 was set pre-Tet and
: was aiming to show the soldiers in a more
: endearing way, a suicide would have felt
: really cowardly and out of place especially
: so early into the season.
:
: After establishing the main characters in
: Bravo Co and we got to know them, season 2
: was more appropriate to show that such
: things did happen, just not to the many
: brave and honourable guys there.
:
: Just thinking about it, there was the
: embassy guard that shot himself in ep 2.1,
: Sp4 Taft (attempted) in ep 1.7, and PFC
: Thayer (attempted) in ep 1.9...
:
: What does everyone else think?

: Hi Craig. Is there anything you can do
: about the layout on the page of Sitting
: Ducks? It's miles too wide to see on screen
: unless the print is tiny. When increasing
: the print size the lines don't adjust
: automatically. Makes reading it a bit
: awkward. Sorry to be a pest
