And when youre blonde like me, it seems even more tricky and confusing LMAO
As for how those of us in the southern hemisphere can remember which way to turn the clocks.... its actually not too difficult.
Even though we are in opposite hemispheres, the saying "Spring ahead, Fall back" still applies.
Here downunder, we have to put our clocks forward 1 hr on the 4th of October 2009, which is ~OUR~ "Springtime"
And then our clocks will go back 1 hr on the 5th April 2010, during Australias "Autumn" (the equivalent of North America's "Fall")
So its not really any different.
Its only confusing because our seasons occur at completely opposite times of the year.
And so come November, when everyone in the Northern Hemisphere are turning their clocks Back, marking the end of daylight savings time in the USA and UK, Those of us in the southern hemisphere are turning our clocks forwards to mark the Beginning of Daylight savings time.
So does that answer your question Sheila?
Or have I gone and confused you even more? LOL
and girlfriend,...thank you for the kind words you posted above. It has indeed been a torrid year and a half Ive had, and one I shall be glad to put behind me. But you have also had a torrid year. And so have quite a few others in this fandom.
Can I just say, its really nice to know that the time and effort that I have made in getting fans along to the online chats each month and helping ppl get more acquainted (however infrequently Ive done so this past year due to all my drama's) are appreciated.
I do thank you xx
