House of M: Avengers #4
Instead of changing something for the sake of being altered and temporary why not to be unique and permanent. Boycotting Amazing mostly for that and though don't like the Penance change, like the fact that he has evolved.
Maybe Marvel is testing the waters with this issue, including :
-new Cage and Misty hair (why?).
-new Hawkeye suit (still with the purple though).
-changed back T'Challa marital status (plus relations with Inhumans and Atlanteans).
-changed back Mockingbird and Thunderbird sentient status (nice to see how they might've been).
-changed back Black Cat bad luck power (lucky for her here) and Tyrone's non-mutant power (as it should be).
-changed back Hobie to techy roots.
-changed back Penance to Speedball ( ).
-changed back cosmic Mantis to 'this one'.
-Kingpin's ability to manipulate multiple masked killers (rarely seen in one 616 gathering - niiice cover).
-new owner of the Mandarin's Rings (look out mutants).
-new Shang Chi's leadership ability.
This might be a better story if you're in the mood for a decompressed What-If story. The story and art read fair enough but could not get into it at time of my reading. There were oodles of notable fave characters you might wish would interact more in the main MU.
nb: The preview post of #3 was apparently/mysteriously deleted...
The secret history of the House of M universe continues as Luke Cage's Avengers battle Shang-Chi's Dragons...Officer Misty Knight inflitrates the Avengers to take them down from within...and Thunderbird's FBI task force, The Brotherhood, recruits a new Sapien member: ex-Marine Frank Castle, aka The Punisher! And tragedy strikes as an Avenger heads toward death!
