TRH the Duke and Duchess of Bragança are pleased to announce the engagement of their son H.H. Infante D. Diniz, duke of Porto with Countess Anna Schaffgotsch von und zu Kynast und Greiffenstein, Baroness von Trachenberg.

D. Diniz, aged 26 proposed this monts to Countess Anna, born in Vienna on February 17, 2002, the daughter of Count Maximilian and Countess Marie Schaffgotsch von und zu Kynast und Greiffenstein.

The Countess has a Bachelor in Economy and Social Sciences from the Vienna University.
She is doing an internship in Lisbon through a NGO Lisbon Project, before finishing her studies at University College London.

She has worked at the Viennese Children’s Theatre and participated in european projects in the areas of education and sustainability .
She also has work experience volunteering with children, youngsters and handicapped persons.

D. Diniz is finishing his master in Political Sciences and International Relations.
He studied at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and at the Portuguese Catholic University.

Co-founder of Caravela Consulting, he developped his activities in strategic consultory, phocusing in international trade, institutional relations and investment.
He underwent a series of internships in several international organizations and at the European Parliament.

The wedding date was not yet announced.
