Prince D.António is in critical condition and has received the extreme unction, the last sacrement for the catholics.

The Prince was taken to hospital in Rio, in the beginning of October, with a respiratory failure, but yesterday his condition got worse.

D.António (74) is second in line to the brazilian throne after his elder brother D.Bertrand (aged 83) and is followed by his only remaining son D.Rafael (38) still unmarried.
D.António´s eldest son, D.Pedro Carlos, died in 2009, when the Air France Boeing fell into the Atlantic.
