Most unlikely, indeed.
What a m-i-l the poor chap would get
I know this will never happen, but I would love for either the Prince or the Infante to marry Princess Leonor. I know, I know, will never happen
... the scary salerosa on top of the board, right ?
She's been there for so many months .
I would propose our Infanta D. Maria Francisca, Duchess of Coimbra, the next royal bride.
So much prettier and nicer
I consider your disgust for the woman, HM King Felipe VI married more than 19(!) years ago and who is the mother of the future Queen Regnant of Spain, as rather rude. As consort to her husband, Doña Letizia is The Queen of Spain - even if yourself would never ever call her so. After nearly two decades, for me, this sounds like a lack of respect towards The King, the Monarchy.
There are facts, one has to come to terms and if you can't say anything nice, better be quiet. Calling a lady "scary" is neither funny, nor has it class.
Yes, there are facts indeed and more relevant ones that you choose to omit: for instance, that the former King was on his throne for much longer than "19 years" and was raked by the media in the closing years of his reign for his antics in Africa, his affairs with other women, his financial dealings. Or how his two daughters married men who either wound up in prison or divorced them. Titles and rank in today's world are an empty thing if in fact the holder of them does not *themselves* act in an honorable and appropriate way. There are no more automatic respects given to public figures in today's world much less ones that do the most harm to their own image. I could drag up some of the comments and incidents over those 19 plus years involving the present King and Queen that are also self-inflicted damage. Not "classy"? No, they weren't classy - and that was their choice also. Sorry, but the Spanish Inquisition ended some centuries ago and the world today doesn't lick the boot of a titleholder.
