With the greatest joy, TRH the Duke and Duchess of Braganša announce the engagement of their daughter HH Infanta D.Maria Francisca de Braganša, duchess of Coimbra with Mr. Duarte de Sousa Ara˙jo Martins.
HH and Mr. Duarte de Sousa Ara˙jo Martins got engaged in Timor in the beginning of the month.
The wedding date will be announced in due time.
Duarte Maria de Sousa Ara˙jo Martins was born in Lisbon on May 14th 1992. He is the son of Pedro Martins and D. Maria do Carmo de Sousa Ara˙jo. he has 3 siblings. His maternal grand-father is the well-known architect and religious art paintor JoŃo de Sousa Ara˙jo.
Duarte de Sousa Ara˙jo Martins has a law degree by the Catholic Univesity of Portugal and has a Master of Laws (Banking and Finance Law) by the Queen Mary University, in London.
He is a lawyer, senior associated at the UrÝa MenÚndez Proenša de Carvalho law society, specialized in capital markets, fusions and acquisitions.
