In 1933, around the time of the wedding of Infante José Eugenio de Baviera y Borbón (1909-1966), his wife Marisol de Mesía (1911-2005) was created Condesa de Odiel by the exiled King Alfonso XIII. As Spain would technically not become a Kingdom again until 1947, I was wondering whether or not Marisol's 1933 title creation was ever confirmed in Spanish law. I assume the same title for Marisol's daughter was officially confirmed, as King Juan Carlos was reigning by that time.
