Re: Princess of Asturias to Wales
I would like to understand how this school became the go-to choice for royal families. The only time I ever hear of it is when some royal heir or heiress heads off to spend a year there. I did know that Lord Mountbatten was heavily involved in the school's founding, but I wonder what about the school's philosophy makes it seem a good alternative for future monarchs. Wikipedia describes the school's approach like this: "It is known for its liberal, progressive and radical education, its global ethos, and its strong focus on local and global sustainability."
It has been published she will share the room with other four girls, but nothing about their identities.
The RH has also published pictures of her family saying goodbye to her at the airport. Following Covid restriction, the family were not allowed to enter the airport. https://us.hola.com/royals/gallery/20210830g1wmi0ijb2/queen-letizia-spain-daughter-princess-leonor-goodbye-family-airport-school-uk/4/
Quite a contrast to the Dutch court. Only one picture taken by her father with her bags in front of the private entrance to Huis ten Bosch and that is it.
Has anything been published in Spain if the two princesses will be sharing a room? It would fit the rules as they are from different countries but would be helpful as it would bring down security costs and both speak Spanish.
