Segorbe is the only surviving son of the late Duchess and, apparently, the descendants from all his late siblings oppose to the way he rans the Foundation, so, nothing better than cutting them from the board.

Segorbe has also been involved in various "incidents" regarding family titles.
The Duchess of Medinacelli was the second most titled spanish aristocrat after the Duchess of Alba and allegedelly made an informal division of titles, contemplating her grand-children (her children already have been given titles).
Segorbe put a claim on most of the titles, opening a feud with his nephews, namely the younger son of the Duke of Feria.

The Foundation was established in 1978 to assemble and ran the family estates and huge art collections.
I don't know much about the 2 elder children of Duchess Victoria-Eugenia.
The first born was Ana, countess of Ofalia and Marchioness of Navehermosa, married Prince Max-Emanuel of Hohenlohe-Langenburg.
Due to gender equality, she should have inherited the title but died before her mother.
Her own elder son Marco Pr. Hohenlohe succedded to the Medinacelli title, but died in 2016 leaving the title to his eldest daughter Victoria (b.1997).
Second child and first son was Luis, Duke of Santisteban del Puerto (1941-2011) married, two daughters.
Don't know anything about him or if he was ever involved with the Foundation.
Third child and second son was Rafael, Duke of Feria (1942-2001).
A constant presence in the pink press with his former model wife Nati Abascal in the 80-90's, he was convicted to 18 years imprisonment for pedophilia but the sentence apparently was reduced. Two sons.
Leaves Segorbe, for whom Pss Maria da Gloria of Orleans-Bragança left Pr.Alexander of Yu.
They have two daughters.
