I've crossread Jaime Peñafiel's book "Los 80 años de Sofia".
On the chapter of her greek family, it is said that Jesus Aguirre, the duchess of Alba's 2nd husband, once courted Pss Irene with whom he shared cultural interests.
Is there any evidence of this ?
