Queen Letizia is of child bearing age so I would say the birth of a son is possible, even if not planned. My understanding is that a boy would dislodge his older sisters from the line of succession. We would then see him take the Asturias title from his eldest sister. This seems rather harsh in a time of gender equality but has been the norm in the Monarchial system. Do Spanish posters think if the Queen became pregnant the rules would be changed so that Leonor kept her rights, even if a prince was born?
