Arctostaphylos manzanita

Heute habe ich durch Zufall ein Foto von einer schönen Arctostaphylos manzanita gesehen.
Hat da eventuell schon jemand Erfahrungen? Gibt es die in Europa?

es gibt sie aber......extrem selten, extrem schwer zu etablieren.....also nichts wirklich einfaches....lg

Das dachte ich mir schon, es gibt sie scheinbar auch nur als Saatgut oder in einer Spezialitätengärtnerei im Luberon als Pflanze.
Aber schön ist sie...

ja , in luberon, aber da hab ich schon viel geld geschreddert, da hat gar nichts überlebt.....und saatgut ist so ne sache, die dinger keimen so gut wie gar nicht, evtl feuerbehandlung.

hallo hans jörgen,
ja davon haben wir im post ja gesprochen, das lohnt nicht obwohl er ein tolles sortiment hat. hatt wie gesagt schon viel geld dort gelassen, nichts hat überlebt auch nicht im topf.......vieles ist auch nicht lieferbar.

Verdünnte Schwefelsäure hat sich bewährt um die Samen zu "cracken",

Die weitere Aufzucht dürfte nicht schwieriger als Arbutus oder Rhododendron occidentale sect. Pentanthera Sämlinge sein.
