Her reign started on the death of her father on november 23rd 1890. She took on the responsibility of monarch in an active role on her 18th birthday: august 31st 1898. On september 6th 1898 she was sworn in.

She abdicated on september 4th 1948 and her daughter Queen Juliana was sworn on september 6th 1948.

Queen Wilhelmina of the Neatherlands reigned for over 50 years, those years included both WWI and WWII. When did this queen's reign actually begin, please? Was it at the moment of her father's death or was it when she was inaugurated into office?
