UK: Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex (1964-)
Norway: none since the house of Glücksburg came to the throne
Sweden: Princess Madeleine (1982-)
Denmark: as with Norway, none since the house of Glücksburg came to the throne
Spain: Infante Gonzalo (1914-1934)
Belgium: King Albert II (1934-)
The Netherlands: Queen Juliana (1909-2004)
Luxembourg: Princess Alix (19296-2019)
Liechtenstein: Prince Franz Josef (1962-1991)
Monaco: Hereditary Prince Jacques (1914-)
Is all this correct? Can anybody fill me in on the earlier histories of Norway and Denmark? What about non-reigning royal houses?
Greece is tricky, since all five children of King Constantine II were born after their father came to the throne. The trouble is that the Greek monarchy got abolished in 1973, six years after the family was exiled.
I believe in Italy, it would have been Princess Maria Francesca of Savoy (1914-2001); in Portugal, King Manoel (1889-1932); in Russia, the Czarevich Alexis (1904-1918); in Bulgaria, Tsar Simeon (1937-); in Yugoslavia, Prince Andrei (1929-1990); in Prussia, Princess Viktoria Luise (1892-1980); in Bavaria, King Otto (1848-1916).
Austria is tricky, since some of the children of Emperor Karl were born before he came to the throne, some while he was reigning, and some after he was deposed.
As for the smaller German dynasties ... I don't have the time or inclination to get into each. If somebody could fill me in, however, it would be nice.
