I believe that he (a great-great-grandson) was the last documented case of the disease among QV's descendants. His line of descent was through Beatrice, Ena, and Maria Beatriz. He therefore would have been a maternal uncle of Princess Sybilla of Luxembourg. Although she does not appear to be a carrier, there is a possibility that her mother was, since she had a brother who died young (the cause is unclear).
