I believe that King Constantine I abdicated, as opposed to be deposed. King Constantine II was deposed -- just like King Otto of the house of Wittelsbach -- but never abdicated.
Who was the other king who abdicated? What was the exact record with George II, who was recalled to the throne twice?
The Glücksburg monarchy was German-Danish in origin, imposed on Greece in the 1830s.
Wrong ! In the 1830s thr Greek throne was offered to Pr. Otto of Bavaria.
The Glucksburgs only arrived in 1863.
