Henry VII was succeeded by Edward VI, Mary I and Elisabeth I.
Henry VIII that is and yes I somehow forgot him.
Also, from the Anglo-Saxon/Danish period I forgot to include:
Edgar the Peaceful succeeded in turn by his sons Edward the Martyr and after the latter's murder by the younger son Ethelred II.
Ethelred II succeeded by his eldest son Edmund II and, after the Danish interlude, by his youngest son Edward the Confessor.
Canute (or Cnut as its fashionable to call him nowadays) was succeeded in turn by his sons Harold I and Harthacanute. His daughter Gunhild married the German king Henry III (later Holy Roman Emperor).
