A cursory Google search of kings of Greece, the bare minimum one can do, will quickly inform that Prince William of Denmark (a son of Christian IX of Denmark) was chosen to become King of Greece and that he reigned as George I.
The Greek Royal (rather than “Royal”…) Family descends in the male line from Christian IX and therefore are princes of Denmark. As you might be able to now imagine, they also have Kings of Greece in their male-line ancestry and therefore are princes of Greece.
Princes of Greece and of Denmark, there you have it.
Other than being the country of birth for members of this "royal" family, what contribution has Greece made to their being called princes of Denmark and Greece?
