In recent days it is difficult to find.
The more children the sovereign had, the more difficult to "place" them all in a throne.
Joana The Mad and Philip of Habsburg managed well:
1. Leonor, queen of Portugal and later queen of France
2. Carlos, King of Spain and Holy Roman Emperor
3. Isabel, queen of Denmark
4. Fernando, Holy Roman Emperor
5. Maria, queen of Hungary
6. Catarina, queen of Portugal.
King D.Diniz of Portugal and Queen Saint Isabel of Aragon had just 2 children:
1. Infanta D.Constança, queen of Castille
2. King D.Afonso IV of Portugal
D.Afonso IV and Queen D.Maria of Castille had all their surviving children on thrones :
1. Infanta D.Naria, queen of Castille
2. D.Fernando King of Portugal
3. Infanta D.Leonor, queen of Aragon
Henry VIII was succeeded by all his legitimate children:
Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I.
Maximilian II King of Bavaria was succeeded by all his legitimate sons, Ludwig II and Otto.
I was reading about the royal family of Belgium and quickly realized that King Leopold III saw all of his children by Queen Ingrid enthroned. His 2 sons served as Kings of Belgium. His daughter served as Grand Duchesss consort in Luxembourg. Are there other such examples? I can't think of any.
