The so called “joyas de pasar” do not belong to the Queen. Actually they belong to the King, more precisely to King Juan Carlos .In her will, Queen Ena said they should be inherited by her son Juan and then by her grandson Juan Carlos. That’s all.
In Spain there are the so-called "joyas de pasar" - the passing jewels, an allotment of jewels that belong to the consorte/reigning queen.
The Countess of Barcelona passed them to Queen Sofia when JC became King, and Q.Sofia passed them to the present queen after JC's abdication.
