First of all what you're referring to is a style, a form of address, and it's not a title. If HRM means His/Her Royal Majesty that is not the correct style which is simply HM for His or Her Majesty.

HIM stands for His/Her Imperial Majesty. Despite having the title Empress/Emperor of India from 1877 until 1948 the style HIM for a British Monarch was not used.

The 3 royal female consorts of England in the 20th century were both an HRM as well as an HIM. Was there a protocol concerning usage of these titles when addressing these 3 ladies? Were they ever mentioned as Queen-Empress publicly in England?
