Since 1800, several European monarchs served both as royal majesties as well as imperial majesties. Several monarchs of Britain come mainly to mind, they being Victoria, Edward VII, George V, Edward VIII, and George VI. I believe that both German speaking Kaisers fit in to this category as well. Did the royals of Portugal have this distinction briefly? Were there others?
Peter I of Brazil bestowed the courtesy title of Emperor of Brazil upon his father John VI of Portugal, whom he had deposed there, so father and then later son (briefly) were both Imperial and Royal Majesty.
