Would Karl Friedrich, present-day head of the princely house of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, still be the rightful claimant of the defunct throne of the kingdom under the semi-Salic law? According to the 1923 constitution, the succession is in the male-line only; but we all know that it was reversionary, since for two generations the eldest son renounced his rights in favor of his younger brothers.
Yes, the Prince of Hohenzollern would be King of Romania if one were to respect the succession as in the last monarchical constitution.
