He was a member of the House of Wied. This is indicated in the info box at the end of his article on Wikipedia, which was found very quickly with Google.

Prince William was elected or chosen to be monarch of Albania. this being prior to WWI. When war broke out, he seems to have left his kingdom to be in the German military. Was he a member of the Wettin dynasty?
