On another thread I asked about Adk Rudolph's 1st marriage to Xenia Css Tschernyschev-Besobrasow.

Was it approved by ADk Otto ?

I wasn't sure that Otto had given his consent.

His consent to that marriage is what immediately ticked off so many Habsburg relations whose own non-Gotha spouses or daughters-in-law were not approved by Otto.
