You misunderstood my post: I was referring only to women who were expectant mothers when becoming queens. Her British Majesty most certainly was not in that condition, when in 1952 she succeeded her father on the throne.
If anything, her mother was rumored to be expecting at that time: a pregnancy test had to be conducted, for the daughter to be confirmed as queen regnant, since the laws back then favored male heirs. If an hypothetical posthumous third child of King George VI had been a son, that son would have automatically been king at birth -- just like Alfonso XIII of Spain.
The present queen of England Elizabeth II was pregnant twice during her reign.
