Besides 30 being a nice round number :o) , the Finnish and Lithuanian monarchies were dead in the womb - neither having ever come to fruition. The Habsburg Dual Monarchywas comprised of many kingdoms, duchies & counties, but there were only two (hence the term dual) nation-states: the Austrian Empire and the Kingdom of Hungary. Bohemia, like Galicia, Transylvania and Croatia, once existed as a distinct monarchy, but from 1806-1918 it was an integral unit of the Austrian Empire.
