The UK still has coronations, Sweden, Norway and Denmark kept them until the 19th century so have impressive regalia too. Just like Russia, Hungary, Austria and Bohemia.
Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands don't have coronations so simpler crowns as symbols of the monarchy suffice. Belgium has no regalia at all, just a throne. The same for Luxembourg and Monaco. A copy of a Furstencrown was made for the sovereign prince of Liechtenstein in the 20th century.
Why is it that in Europe some countries such as England, Sweden, Denmark for instance have large collections of royal regalia and then there are nations which have none though they are monarchies. What dictated the designs of the regalia. Early ones were open in design and then, later, arches were added.
