What role, if any, does Boudicca play in England's royal history?
Nothing at all. England did not exist in Boudicca's time. She was the queen of an ancient Celtic tribe known as the Iceni who inhabited part of present day Norfolk. In about AD 60 she spearheaded a famous revolt against Roman rule and died in the attempt. She became a kind of hero of ancient Britain (there is a statue of her standing in a winged chariot near the Houses of Parliament which was erected in the 19th century) but she plays no part in English royal history (the forebears of the English monarchy did not arrive in Britain until some four centuries after her death).
