Let's keep it simple and look at their official surname and house-name. In all three cases that remained Orange-Nassau and as such they are not three separate houses. That is importing foreign rules into the Kingdom of the Netherlands and being Dutch myself i strongly oppose to pretending foreign rules are the norm when an independent nation has made its rules. Dutch law is very clear on what the name of the ruling Dynasty is: van Oranje-Nassau. Anyone denying that denies the country's right to make laws for itself and that i find highly disrespectful. personally i don't agree will a lot of laws in other countries but my opinion does not make them any less legal. And I like anyone else will have to abide by/be respectful of those laws whenever i visit those countries. It would mean a lot to me if those assuming male line descendant is more important than the female line (in short sexists) in future would respect Dutch law and the right of the Dutch legislative to decide upon the name of it's reigning dynasty!
I tend to agree: on the one hand, I believe in female succession -- and wholeheartedly support the changes in law to give equal inheritance rights to males and females. On the other hand, I'm a stickler for tradition when it comes to surnames and dynastic names.
