Yes, I'm aware of the complexities behind eye color. That's why I said it was GENETICALLY impossible for a pair of blue-eyed parents to produce a brown-eyed child: there still could be other ways.
That being said, given the character of Queen Marie and her history of extramarital relationships, it seems very likely that King Ferdinand was not the biological father of Prince Mircea. I'm speaking in terms of likelihood, not absolute certainty -- notwithstanding the fact that when it come to paternity, it is indeed possible to prove a negative.
