Does anybody have that list? The reason for my asking is that Archduke Franz Ferdinand requested that it get published, at the time of his morganatic marriage to Countess Sophie Chotek -- and that future Habsburgs be bound by it. I've been told, for instance, that the mediatized princely house of Windisch-Graetz was actually not on that list. I'm curious about others -- e.g. Ligne and Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg.
Anytime one is dealing with a house which is not clearly sovereign, the situation becomes iffy as to whether a member is considered of *equal* birth, for the purpose of dynastic marriage. If it came to that, even the union in 1903 of Archduchess Elisabeth Amalia of Austria and Prince Aloys of Liechtenstein was initially regarded as a mésalliance. As it was, Emperor Franz II Joseph had to personally attend his the wedding himself, in a spirit of solidarity with his niece.
