In practical terms (largely ignored by Jacobites) princely titles are all a matter of recognition.
There are people who accord Margarita the title of Curatrix of the Throne (even with the style of Her Majesty).
There are people who accord Nicholas the title of prince (based upon a grant of very doubtful authority by his grandfather, but then ignoring the retraction).
There are people who accord Paul and young Carol the title of prince (based on the fact that Paul's father was born to a woman Carol II had married and from whom he had been divorced contrary to his own will).
In this particular case, I'm all for following the Sicilian agreement and letting everybody use the titles they want. It's true that the Sicilian agreement blew up catastrophically, but it was a nice idea while it lasted.
