As for the Wurttembergs, like other Catholic royal families they were distanced from the Nazi regime
Guy is clearly referring to the ducal line of the Wurttembergs.
A Catholic morganatic line descended from the Protestant kings of Wurttemberg is the family of the Duke of Urach. One of the sons of the 2nd Duke of Urach and his Wittelsbach wife was Prince Albrecht of Urach. In 1931 he married an Englishwoman (although I think it likely that the union was not valid in Catholic canon law). He returned to Germany a few years later and joined the National Socialist Party in 1934. His Wikipedia article (source of all knowledge and wisdom) says, "To become a journalist he joined the Nazi party in 1934." Certainly many people found it advantageous for their careers to be members of the party. This was certainly true for Prince Albrecht - until the war ended!
