Actually, the President-elect is having enough trouble attracting Americans to the inauguration, I don;t think he is worried in the slightest about foreign dignitaries.

: Royal guests at inaugurations aren't the norm.
: At the time of Obama's first inauguration,
: some people in The Netherlands said that in
: light of the historic inauguration of the
: first black president, the Prince of Oranje
: would be a good representative, but at the
: time this idea was shot down quickly by the
: Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the Netherlands
: has always been represented by their
: ambassador at presidential inaugurations.
:
: And I seriously doubt that if the election
: of president Obama wasn't enough reason to
: send a higher representative, the
: inauguration of Trump most certainly isn't.
: Perhaps we can send Geert Wilders and
: perhaps the US can keep him?

: I will be surprised if there are many royals
: at the inauguration. I have been unable to
: locate a website that gives official
: information about the event, such as foreign
: dignitaries attending, but I suspect most
: countries will be represented by their
: ambassadors.
:
: I noticed Prince Leka is not going as a
: representative of Albania, but as the
: personal guest of a New York politician.
