: Since the Danish succession law is now
: gender neutral, it is quite possible that
: there will be a restriction of princely
: titles amongst the Danish dynasts. This I
: don't know of course, but it would be
: possible that the Monarch decides that e.g.
: the grand children of Prince Joachim won't
: be HH Prince/ss of Denmark.
: That would most likely not effect the Greek
: Royal House, since their Danish titles,
: since it has no real legal status. They have
: just kept using their Danish titles since
: the days of King George I.
: No legal status? What is your source?
Since 1953 they have no successional rights in Denmark. Other princes (e.g. Fleming) who have lost their successional rights have also lost their princely titles. It is more a title by courtesy. I think we can compare it with the Hanoverians. Are they really Princes/ses of the United Kingdom?
