I know that the current grand duchess consort of Luxembourg was by birth a member of the Belgian nobility -- the comital rank, no less. I would imagine that she has at least distant royal ancestry, as is the case with most persons of the class she was born to.
What, then, is her nearest genealogical connection to royalty?
