But they clearly belong to the upper classes, since they are mid-level nobility (the comital rank, Queen Mathilde's mother having been born Countess Anne-Marie Komorowski).
So this got me wondering: since Chopin's mother (born Tekla Justyna Krzyżanowska) was also of noble birth, are there any possible genealogical connections between Chopin and the Belgian queen?
