Yes, indeed some of the redecorated rooms are completely out of sync / place in the historic palace but I am sure that at the time Queen Sophie's choice for a Moorish inspired cabinet was also considered a rather brave choice at the time.

I find the rooms too dark, over styled, heavy and eclectic but mostly distasteful.

It was uncomfortable in the sense that these two interviewers were so eager to please it hurt my eyes and ears. The interior is a whole different matter. Don't get me started on that!
