May you rest in peace Marianne. A complex character who did not suffer fools or bad behavior on these boards lightly..Her vast knowledge, passion and great spirit will be remembered.

It is with sadness that I heard today that after having been ill for some time, Marianne Kouwenhoven, former administrator of some of these boards, silently passed away last night, in her sleep.

Marianne was a character, in a way typically Dutch, with the tongue on her sleeve, always ready to rebuke someone if need be, but dedicated to these boards for many, many years, working for them 24/7 and making friends all over the world in the process. She will surely be missed.

May she rest in peace.
