Re: Luxembourg: Prince Louis engaged to marry Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue
I know they did, but there was no official statement regarding her title from the palace other than in guest lists. When Grand Duke Jean created the title of count(ess) de Nassau for the wife and children of his second son and his nephew there was an official statement. When Henri changed it to prince(ss) de Nassau there was also an official statement. When Louis married Tessy it was made clear she would be Madame Tessy de Nassau. Later she and their sons became prince(ss) de Nassau. All officially announced by the palace but no official statement about Diane was ever made. That is quite confusing. We'll have to wait for the wedding to see if they announce anything about Louis' new wife and if so what her style will be. It could be anything from Madame de Nassau, Countess de Nassau, Princess de Nassau to Princess of Luxembourg and Princess de Nassau. I did not think so either. But Stefan at the Nobiliana forum pointed out that the court called Diane Comtesse de Nassau in its official communications regarding the 2012 royal wedding guest list and the 2019 list of mourners at funeral of Grand Duc Jean.
